Settings can be configured on the Settings tab.
How are settings saved?
Settings are saved whenever the rivalry is updated, or when the program is exited.
What does this setting mean?
- FTP Server - This is the FTP server that the program connects to so it can upload the rankings. Examples of what you'd write here are "ftp.angelfire.com", "ftp03.websamba.com", "ftp.the-elite.net"...
- Username - The username you use to log into your account at the FTP server. For example, "games5/rivalry", "countryelite", "Fred"...
- Password - Your password for that username.
- Directory - If you want to upload the rankings to a directory (folder) within your webspace, tick this box and write the directory name. Make sure the directory exists before you try to upload.
- Point Max - This is how many points are given for each record. The default is 100, but you can make it anything you want.
- Penalty - This is the time awarded to members who have an "N/A" on their times page, indicating they haven't finished the level. The default is 20 minutes.
- Upload ... as ... - Tick each box to have it upload that page. There is no need to upload the banner or CSS file more than once, unless they change. Write in the textboxes what you want the file to be renamed to when it's uploaded. For the stage and diff files, the asterisk shows where the number will go (eg. stage*.htm will be stage1.htm, stage2.htm, etc).
- Column and Row names - These two textboxes allow you to set the number of stages (rows) and difficulties (columns), as well as name them. Each new line means a new column/row, so make sure there are no blank lines at the end of the text in those textboxes. Click the PD/GE/TWINE buttons to have it automatically insert the column/row names for that game.
